To Convert 'for' and 'in' Love?

True love is meant to be undconditional, with no restrictions, no expectations. It goes to the extent of not being possessive, jealous of the other and not controlling the other human. It's all about mutual respect, understanding, enjoying and loving the company and presence of the other. Right?

Then why does religion come in to play? Do we love the person for what s/he is? Is it not the soul that matters? Why do some people agree to convert and why do some others expect their so called future better-half to convert?

Why succumb to socitial pressure? Why not respect each other's religion and each other as individuals?

God is after all one(worshipped in different forms) for those who believe in the existence of the supreme-supernatural power. As for atheists it should not make a difference.

Will people ever change? Will the world ever change?

everyone does not blv that God is One..whihc is why all this happens. it is always a question of My God versus Your God.

Yep it is Bebu, he hasn't started blogging but was forced to post a comment as always.:P Agreed not everyone believes that 'God is one' but what about respecting the other person's individuality and oneself, especially in love?

the conversion doesnt happen because the person in love wants the other to get converted, but the egoistic family behind those couples.. the person who has the better ego and convincing power wins finally..

And according to me, its always better to choose a partner who is of our own kind (caste, religion etc..) coz the tradition remains the same and we wont be having conflicts about them at later days.. a small mis understanding any time in future might blow up into big issue if there are so much of difference in their way of upbrining.

You want to convert someone because deep down within the unconscious mind ,you have a fear that all those beliefs that you so much cherish may be wrong and that the other person may be right. Hence you want him to be in the same boat as you are...
